Institute for Strategic Studies, Research and Analysis (ISSRA) invites research proposals from potential researchers (including faculty members) across the country to carry out monetized research projects on various aspects of National Security. ISSRA sponsorship would serve as a catalyst for theme-based research activities to promote a knowledge economy through innovative, critical and market-driven skills. Following are the objectives:

• To identify and address issues directly impacting comprehensive national security.
• To present an innovative, viable and affordable way out of such issues.
• To facilitate policymakers with pragmatic solutions to devise policies.
• To provide researchers an opportunity to enhance their critical thinking and research skills.

Each proposal will be evaluated on merit by a Review Panel at ISSRA for a promising and high-quality research project with strategic relevance.

Desirous candidates will submit their research project proposals as per the prescribed format. After due scrutiny/ evaluation of research proposals, shortlisted candidates will be asked to present their project proposals (in person) for approval. After approval, researchers will be required to complete their projects within three months and submit their conclusions in the form of a Strategy Paper. Each research team will be assigned a supervisor/ mentor from ISSRA. Researchers will be required to submit monthly progress reports to ISSRA.
